Now I very well realize that this post may piss-off some people, and if so, simply change the channel. It's about time that these things be discussed, especially in light of the recent Rev. Wright racist sermons and his ties to Barack Obama. Now we have a Professor Boyce of Syracuse University spewing his hatred and racism to his students; and now to the reat of us. And then we have the Democratic party playing the race card to the hilt. But every time something about race comes up and it involves a black person and a white person, it's a guarantee that it'll be the white guy that's the evil racist, and then you'll have the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson protesting in the streets disrupting things and calling for the white guys head.

They'll want the white fired from their job, making public apologies etc and they'll be making speeches about how this society is all messed up with racism and that white people are the provokers.....you'll never-ever hear them talk about the black or Hispanic communities involvement in racism in this country. I know that I must sound like a racist...well I'm not, in fact far I'm from it, but I am real sick of seeing whites take the blame for every little thing that upsets blacks or Hispanics or Asians or Arabs or which ever other race we have hear. Yep....I'm sick of it so that's why I'm posting this. I think it's appropriate and shouldn't be offensive, and if you find it offensive then you can certainly change the channel.

If we had WET

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce,
A Black Chamber of Commerce,
And then we just have the plain
Chamber of Commerce.
Wonder who pays for that?

If we had a college fund that only gave
White students scholarships
...You know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly-proclaimed
Black-only Colleges in the US ,
Yet if there were 'White-only Colleges'
...THAT would be a racist college.

I finally had enough and said to the lady " could you please watch your children?" She in turn yelled back at me "You are only scolding them because we are black! I bet if we were a white family you wouldn't be mad at them!"

I was stunned and told her "If you were purple with green spots I would still tell you to watch your children!"

I am sick of everything being about race...we are all a part of the human race and until all the races get this thru there head there will always be racists! I am starting to feel like a minority. There is no group out there to help me...I am just a low paid white person. Where is the group that is going to help me get a better education or better job?

I can remember many times on the force when we'd arrest a black drug dealer, being told I was arresting him just because he was black. Never mind that he was put into a cell block with drug dealers of all colors and ethnicities.

And never mind that by arresting him, we were helping to protect the neighborhood he dealed in, which was typically a black neighborhood -- black kids have the right to walk safely to school as much as white kids do!

Similarly, most violence I dealt with was between people of the same race.

And I know black people hate those who constantly use the race card as a crutch, as it distracts people from the real racism that exists, as no one wants to hear it anymore after hearing about all the perceived racial slights.

Oh sure...they say that they are just trying to be inoffensive and that we should all have a strong sense of heritage and nationality, but putting labels on people does just the opposite. First of all, my ancestry, heritage and ethnicity are my own business, and I will embrace them to the level of my own choosing. Secondly, all these labels (some of them misnomers) do nothing more than create divisions where there shouldn't be any. I'm an American...plain and simple. I happen to be of Spanish, Mexican, and Native American ancestry, but I'm 100% American.

Sorry...I just happen to be passionate about this subject. Good post.

well the majority of colleges are white only or near enough.
the school i go to is about 80-90% white.
the only black people there are student-athletes.
not very many hispanics.
so yeah some times we need a little help because the way things are run now are geared towards helping white people.
well at least they were but affirmative action and similar plans are helping change that.
is it fair? probably not.
but whats wrong with people trying to help their own?
but yes i do agree with you about the double standard of racism.

I finally said to the cop that he should check out all the beer cans they tossed before you got here.....no sooner had I said that this moonbat goes ballistic saying that it's because he's Mexican and I'm prejudiced, he's Mexican and all I want to do is get him in trouble because I don't like Mexicans, and yadie-yadie-yadie-yadie.

I had forgotten all about that...but it's another prime example of how we're responsible for other race's woes.

I would never call ANYONE nigger for ANY reason....but I can't even reference the word, say if it's a conversation and the word just happens to be in it. Blacks say the word "nigger" incessantly when talking about this or that or whatever....but I cannot say the word nigger, I have to say "the N word." If I did Al Sharpton and Jesse (extortionist) Jackson would be all over me crying foul!

They're are many more references like this one and they all come down to the same thing....I'm white so therefore I'm a racist. I can't say certain words but you can, if I do I'm a racist and should be openly chastised by blacks and whites alike!

Yet the NAACP stands for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.....they use the word "colored" themselves!

I don't remember the coaches name, but he was in the news because he made a statement about one of his (black) players. He was trying to get across that this was a good kid. He made the mistake of saying "there are black kids and then there are niggers" The media had a hay day with this.

The coach probably should have chosen his words better, but he wasn't saying it to be racist. He was trying to say his player wasn't a thug out dealing drugs. If the black population has such a problem with the word then they should stop using it themselves! To me the word nigger can be for any race....some one who is a thug and deals drugs and has no respect for any one but themselves or their gangs.....doesn't have to be just a black person. Even a white person can be labeled a nigger!

I tend not to use the word nigger, but I do use it in situations where it is NOT directed at someone who deserves it, but as an obscure insult at someone who does not in any way fit the racial description. I like to use offensive language and terms, rarely unprovoked, mostly to mock someone for their prejudices. I also use prejudice as a weapon, to spark conversation when people are tiptoeing around a subject.

My point being... I am hugely insulting. I am offensive. I am, by some "standards" a racist... I am not. I am me. I offend, I insult, I mock, but there is always a reason to it.

I have no clue what nationality she was/is. I have no info on my birth father...I have glow in the dark white skin....so I am abviously white. Hell my birth certificate only lists a county, not a city where I was born. So I don;t know if I started out a country hick...or just became one...or if my origins are a city slicker!

Guess I am a true American...I can't claim any other "blood" nationality.
